Action Creation Improvements
🟪 Action profiles now support more flexible scheduling, with frequencies as frequent as every 15 minutes. From the Scheduling screen, you can define how often the profile runs, select applicable days, and set start and end times for daily activity. (1405281)
🟪 The Failed actions screen is now available in the new Actions UI. Previously accessible only through a popup in the legacy action creation screen, this new screen provides the same functionality with improved filtering and search capabilities for failed actions caused by skipped picks. From this screen, you can handle individual or multiple failed actions at once. It also displays the last stock take date for the affected location. Support for creating cycle count actions directly from this screen will be added in a future release. (1414266)
Other New Features and Enhancements
🟪 Adjustments in the web application now behave as inventory movements to provide more accurate and consistent reporting. Positive adjustments are recorded as movements into a location, while negative adjustments are recorded as movements out of the warehouse into a removal holder. For example, adjusting quantity from 5 to 8 records a movement of 3 units into the location. Since this change has the potential to impact integrations and other processes, we are treating it as a breaking change.
This change may impact integrations and related processes. It will be released during the next breaking changes window (currently planned for September). If you want this change applied sooner, contact Support and reference the work item number. Otherwise, it will be applied automatically during the scheduled release. For upcoming updates, refer to the Coming Soon page. (1378871)
🟪 The Pick and sort to trolley action now supports the new pick and ship workflow. This method is designed for multi-item orders and sorts items into distinct locations or containers during picking. Unlike other pick and ship workflows that ship items immediately, this workflow ships an order only after all items are picked. Once complete, you can either print a shipping label for the container or send it to a packing workflow, depending on your process.
This workflow respects the Stop ship flag on the sales order, preventing automatic shipment when applied. If you pick into and ship a container, any connected carrier integrations receive container context, enabling advanced automation scenarios such as scanning a container barcode to identify the order and trigger label printing. Resolved Issues
🟩 We resolved an issue that could cause some stock take activities to not appear on the stock take variance approval report. We have created a new "Stock take variance approval v2" report that should fully capture all of the stock takes performed using the new stock take workflow on mobile. (1394991)
Preview of Changes Coming Soon
Action Creation Improvements
Action creation continues to evolve as we drive toward more configurable and more flexible options for batching orders and automating manual processes.
🟦 We are working on a new system for building order filters, to allow you to select exactly the combination of orders that you want to batch into an action. Our goal is to also allow users to filter orders using a broader range of properties, including:
Volumetric calculations per order: Helping optimize trolley-based picking and improving space utilization.
-
Item-level logic: Enabling more advanced comparisons — for example, distinguishing between:
Orders where any item matches specific criteria
Orders where all items match those criteria
Our goal is to provide more flexibility and accuracy when building batches, so you can target exactly the right combination of orders for each action.
🟦 We plan to extend this new action creation (including the scheduling component) to other warehouse activities as well, including put away, replenishment and more in the future.
User Activity Reporting
🟦 We are working on some new and improved user activity reports that will help standardize user metrics between different warehouse activities. Our goal here is to provide you with a set of tools that you can use to measure performance, set benchmarks and track KPIs for warehouse operators.
