Descartes® is pleased to announce the general availability of the Descartes Peoplevox™ 9.7.0 (176/24) release. This release includes several bugfixes related to quantity calculations at despatch, some important performance improvements around searching and reporting and continues to prepare for the upcoming release of the updated UI for locations and location groups on the web application. That release will be an early-access preview to give you an idea of what the overall UI update will look like and to allow you to provide feedback. Enhancements
Enhancement: Implemented several performance improvements to the sales order search mechanism on the web application. These improvements should lead to a general increase in performance when searching here, though some additional changes are planned for future releases that will further improve the performance (755854).Enhancement: To improve API and overall system performance, a limit of 100 filters per request is being enforced on the GetReportData call. This change has previously been communicated on the coming soon page and is already in place on QAC (669376).Enhancement: To improve the performance of both the report and the overall system, the sales order report will be limited to the last two months of data. This change has previously been communicated on the coming soon page and is already in place on QAC environments. For users that need data from a longer period, alternative reports are available, such as the sales orders archive report (703915).Enhancement: The maximum duration for any given API session token will be more strictly enforced on production environments. This change has been announced previously on the coming soon page, is already applied to QAC environments, and was temporarily enabled as part of a product test last month. Once enabled on production, long-running API sessions may be invalidated, and API users may have to reauthenticate. We recommend that API users reauthenticate prior to making a call if their session token is older than 30 minutes (733429).
Resolved Issues
Resolved Issue: Fixed several bugs related to the quantity calculated on carrier integration requests, as well as on some custom despatch documents. Carrier integration requests should automatically send the correct quantities after this fix is released. If you are experiencing issues with the quantities on your despatch documents, you may need to recreate your template in order for the changes to take effect (477574, 362012).Resolved Issue: Fixed a bug with web app navigation that could prevent users from being able to access the "Warehouse" section of the application after navigating to reporting and dashboards (477025).Resolved Issue: Fixed a bug that could prevent the item inventory summary report from showing live inventory data. The report should now correctly receive inventory updates from the system and show these accurately (755796).Resolved Issue: Fixed an issue that could cause the item movement history report to show incomplete data when running it with a filter on the current date (763864).
