Release Notes - Version 4.7.1.1

Version 4.7.1.1

NEW FEATURES AND ENHANCEMENTS

  • Picking:
    • speed on the mobile computers has been greatly improved. From our testing, it is performing about 10 times as fast. This new architecture will be applied across all mobile computer functions bit by bit in future releases.
    • Buttons at the bottom of the pick screens on the mobile computer have been increased in size to make them easier to press.
    • On mobile computer in Pick Step 1, the first location of where you have to get the first item from is shown next to the action number. This enables you to know where to head to quickly and decide which pick to container to use if that is in your process, based upon certain products being stored in certain areas/zones.
    • When picking single item order batches, there is now a pop up requesting confirmation that the user wants to exit the batch, as it was previously too easy for users to make this error by accident by pressing the button too many times due to slow responsiveness.
    • When picking, if you scan the wrong location i.e. the user has mis-read the screen and scanned the wrong location, the mobile computer now presents a pop-up saying that they have scanned the wrong location as soon as they have scanned the location, rather than at the end.
  • Length of Action names has been reduced by excluding the date of the action creation from within the Action number.
  • For single item order despatch following batch replenishment, we only show items ready for despatch in despatch locations
  • Putaway by Multiple items to Multiple locations has been improved to enable fully directed put away of all items from 1 location. The logic is that the sequence number if used in combination with searching in this order (1) items already in a location (2) last known location of where the items were previously if they are no longer in stock (3) empty location.
  • When you do a put away and select the location, the small black box at the bottom of the screen with yellow writing now gives you a total of how many items are in the location to put away from.
  • Report added for items in PICK.REM and related detail. PICK.REM is a temporary holding location for items that have been picked but the action has not yet been completed, and is also used for if the mobile computer loses connectivity during a pick or replenishment.
  • When packing/despatching a batch pick, operators occasionally hit the "reprint" button, instead of despatch button, so there is now a pop up window asking for confirmation that you want to reprint.

INTEGRATION FEATURES

  • Actinic integration improvements:
    • The total number of characters imported for the description has been increased to 100.
    • The description on the label template has been amended to make the description smaller so that more text can be read when printed.
    • If the 'customer email' and 'customer postcode' fields are confirmed as standard on Actinic the plugin will be configured to import them into PVX with orders.
  • Magento: now able to import shipping method from Magento into PVX

BUG FIXES & ENHANCEMENTS

  • When you sort the Inventory by Location report, some records did not display previously.
  • Auto-despatch for Clients who have that turned on had an issue where occasionally a certain combination caused the items to remain in PICK.REM and were getting allocated to orders, despite having been picked and auto-despatched.
  • Inventory for certain purchase orders that have been cancelled were still showing with quantities On order, which has now been resolved.
  • Import of purchase orders via the CSV uploaded in the Integration module no longer limits the number of records you can import.
  •
