This release continues to lay the groundwork for the new web app UI experience, which we hope to push into beta access soon. It also covers some additional bug fixes and some internal improvements to our data obfuscation process, as well as some improvements to searching on the web application.
Enhancement: Continued the back-end work required to support a new and improved web app experience, consistent with other Descartes applications. A new version of the Locations screen will be entering beta soon. (604806)
Enhancement: Improved our internal obfuscation process to handle requests to obfuscate specific customer/order data on request quicker. (655626)
Enhancement: Extended the list of columns available on the despatched items by package report to include many commonly requested fields. A new version of the report has been created, "despatched items by package v4", as the "quantity ordered" field has also been removed from this version of the report for performance reasons. (650812)
Enhancement: Added some additional search criteria to the despatch screen to allow searching on relative dates and times. Previously, filters such as "yesterday" would take the current date (at the time of saving the filter) and simply subtract one day from that. Those search conditions have been renamed to be clearer about their behaviour, and new conditions have been added to allow searching based on yesterday being the previous day at the time of performing the search. This is currently only available on the despatch screen, but we will be looking to standardize this behaviour as part of the UI enhancements coming soon. (637592)
Enhancement: Extended the sales order popup to show the full date and time of the requested delivery date and provide the user with an appropriate control for updating it. (661223)
Enhancement: Improved the overall performance of the despatch process on the web application. We will be monitoring this closely to identify other potential improvements for performance in the future. (656103)
Resolved Issue: Fixed a bug that caused some dates to be unavailable for selection when setting the requested delivery date on a purchase order. (362599)
