This is the first release of 2022 and it wraps up a wide range of changes that we've been working on over the peak period. The next release toward the end of January will also contain some improvements from the peak period, so both of these releases are a little bigger than usual.
Enhancement: We're releasing a new version of the "Sort" function for beta testing. This version addresses some of the challenges that users reported with the current implementation, and focuses on supporting an online-driven process that will allow multiple operators to sort products at the same time (473289).
Enhancement: Continued to lay the groundwork for an upcoming release of a new "Scan" function on Android. The first early-access release is likely to be available in the second half of January, with a full release coming shortly afterwards. (452475)
Enhancement: Added a new "Select all" button to the "Receive by PO" function on Android. This option allows users to apply a search filter and then automatically select all purchase orders that match that filter, without having to search for each individually. This should help save time when receiving multiple POs that all share some common identifier (515844).
Enhancement: Some outstanding performance improvements related to the peak-preparation work (496765).
Enhancement: Started to lay the groundwork for a new login experience on the web application. More on this to come in future releases, but this new workflow will allow us to add enhanced security features such as 2-factor authentication in the future (452456).
Enhancement: Extended the GoodsReceived event subscription to expose additional data about the location into which goods were received (551943).
Enhancement: Added a new configuration option to be able to pre-fill the "to" location during replenishment (515851).
Resolved Issue: Fixed a rare bug that could lead to over-picking as a result of duplicated transactions from the device (529610).
Resolved Issue: Fixed an issue with the "Receive without scan" function that could result in transactions failing to sync to the server (516048).
Resolved Issue: Fixed a bug related to action creation that could allow an order to become partially picked, even if the order is flagged to prevent partial picking (453108).
Resolved Issue: Fixed a bug related to action creation that could cause empty actions to be created, which would then need to be manually deleted (548590).
Resolved Issue: Fixed a bug related to action creation that could incorrectly cause an order to be marked as "Released" when a user tries to create an action for it, but validation prevents the action from being created (for example due to the partial shipment flag) (548592).
Resolved Issue: Fixed a bug that could cause synchronization errors during put-away or goods receipt (552272).
