This release also continues with:
- Security improvements to the API
- A fix related to finding other locations during a pick
- An update to the MetaPack integration related to capturing tracking numbers
We are also working on making some quality of life updates to the early-access version of the new Android scan function (see here if you missed the announcement last time), but those will be made available with the next release.
Enhancement: Ongoing work towards a new login workflow, coming soon. The new workflow will continue to use your existing credentials but will allow us to expand on that in the future with additional security features, such as two-factor authentication (452456).
Enhancement: Implemented some additional back-end security enhancements around the API (580598).
Enhancement: Ongoing work to migrate users across to newer, improved-performance versions of several background jobs related to Android sync and reporting (550200, 604667).
Enhancement: Enhanced the MetaPack integration connector to be able to capture the carrier tracking number from an alternate field on the API response, which can very rarely differ from the standard tracking code (611708).
Resolved Issue: Fixed a rare issue with the Android sync process that could cause the app to create duplicated picks when searching for an alternate location from which to pick an item (454428, 598374).
Resolved Issue: Fixed an issue with the containers by purchase orders report that could cause it to display an incorrect quantity in some circumstances (367772).
These numbers come from our internal work tracking system, and we present them here for you to reference if you have any questions. If you've raised a specific issue on the support desk, then we'll come back to you on that ticket with any relevant updates.
