New Features and Enhancements

🟪 Implemented a wide range of improvements to action creation performance. Many of these enhancements were identified by examining how operators used the system over the 2023 peak period. These changes should enhance the speed with which actions are created, particularly during times of high system usage, and should also enhance the general responsiveness of the web app during the action creation process (971496).

🟪 Enhanced the consistency of container information being displayed on the mobile device. When displaying a container on the search inventory screen, the associated location is also displayed. Previously, this information would be hidden when scanning a container as a destination during an activity like picking, movement, or goods receipt. The location will now be visible alongside the container in each of those places after scanning a container as a destination (1032503).

Resolved Issues

🟩 Fixed a workflow issue with the web app despatch process. Previously, when partially packing a fully picked order, the workflow would direct the user back to scan any item from the despatch location. Now, users are prompted to complete packing the same order, and are directed to scan the specific items required for that order rather. This helps to align the despatch workflow with carrier integrations that may be waiting for the order to be fully packed before generating a consignment and shipping label(s) (1023914).

🟩 Fixed an issue where picking large actions into a container could occasionally cause the mobile device to switch the preset destination from the container to the parent location mid-pick. The mobile app will now correctly retain the scanned container barcode, which will prevent discrepancies further down the line between the pick and pack process (1014832).
