Descartes Peoplevox 24.08-02 includes the New Features, Enhancements, and Resolved Issues (bug fixes) described below. If you have questions about an item, please reference the number in parentheses, if available, when contacting Descartes Customer Support.
This release includes a series of improvements and fixes to the new dashboards module prior to its upcoming launch. It also includes a range of bug fixes across the application, and some of the last outstanding changes needed prior to enabling the new put away module for beta users. We aim to have the new dashboards and put away configuration screens available for beta users in the next few weeks.

Note: As we continue the migration of screens to the new web app styling, we will move the older version of each screen to legacy mode. The older versions will remain available for the immediate future, but you are encouraged to use the new screens wherever possible. Also, we welcome your feedback on the new screens. Your input helps us to ensure that the new screens meet your needs before the legacy screens are switched-off at a later date. The new versions of those screens include:

- Location groups
- Removals
- Sites
- Returns
Thank you to everyone that has provided feedback on these screens so far. Please rest assured that we are reviewing all feedback, and have several enhancements planned to implement many of those changes that you have proposed.
Note: The legacy web app returns workflow will be moving to end of life in the near future. Please use the new returns workflow to process your returns. If you currently use the legacy workflow, you will see an in-app announcement in the coming days. For guidance on the new workflow, please check our help documentation here. If you have any concerns that the new workflow is missing any key functionality that your business needs, please reach out via the support desk so that we can work with you to identify and resolve those gaps.
New Features and Enhancements
🟪 The upcoming put away functionality has been extended with additional functionality for weight and volumetric calculations based on conversations with early-access users. This will be available for beta users when the configuration screens are released in the coming weeks. (1047644)
🟪 A wide range of performance improvements to the action creation process are now available. These improvements aim to speed up loading times throughout the process and a second batch of improvements are planned for the releases leading up towards the peak period. (1030638)
🟪 The new reporting screens were extended to support searching and filtering on the report group. This functionality will also be available on the dashboards screens when they enter beta in the coming weeks. (1068612)
🟪 The user experience for grids on the web application was improved by adjusting the way the grids behave during validation checks. Grids will now automatically scroll to the first validation error when attempting to save, which allows you to easily see which fields need correcting. (892613)
Resolved Issues
🟩 Several issues with the item inventory summary report have been resolved. These issues could cause some inconsistent data where some items would be missing and others could be duplicated. The results of the report should now be consistent with other inventory reports. (963849, 596989)
🟩 A mapping issue with the MetaPack integration was resolved. The issue previously prevented the dedicated terms of trade, currency and IOSS fields from the sales order from being mapped to the MetaPack consignment and required that this data be passed via sales order attributes instead. Now that the issue is resolved, the connector can be configured to use those dedicated fields on the sales order, freeing up the attributes for other data. (1056638)
