Release Notes - Version 8.4.0 (162)

This release continues with the back-end work to support our new login flow coming soon. It also includes some bugfixes and some performance improvements identified after some recent monitoring, and some Android improvements that were rescheduled from the previous couple of releases.

Enhancement: Ongoing work towards a new login workflow, coming soon. The new workflow will continue to use your existing credentials, but will allow us to expand on that in the future with additional security features such as two-factor authentication. (452456)
Enhancement: Implemented some additional infrastructure-level security improvements in line with best practices (549261).
Enhancement: Extended the ChannelAdvisor integration to properly support sales orders that span multiple distribution centres. For more information about the integration, please check our help guide here (582388).
Enhancement: We're releasing a new version of the "Sort" function for beta testing. This version addresses some of the challenges that users reported with the current implementation, and focuses on supporting an online-driven process that will allow multiple operators to sort products at the same time. See this help article for more info (473289).
Enhancement: Added a new "Select all" button to the "Receive by PO" function on Android. This option allows users to apply a search filter and then automatically select all purchase orders that match that filter, without having to search for each individually. This should help save time when receiving multiple POs that all share some common identifier (515844).
Resolved Issue: Fixed an issue that could incorrectly cause a purchase order to be cancelled after modifying a different purchase order via the web app (562755).
Resolved Issue: Fixed a bug where some dialog boxes on Android were not correctly blocking input to the screen behind, which for example allowed users to accidentally scan barcodes while interacting with a logout prompt (367840).

These numbers come from our internal work tracking system, and we present them here so that you've got something to reference if you have any questions. If you've raised a specific issue on the support desk, then we'll come back to you on that ticket with any relevant updates.
