Auto-Updating Print Client

🟨 The new Print Client is now generally available, and we encourage you to upgrade to the latest version. This release introduces automatic updates, which will allow us to push fixes and improvements without disrupting your operation. The initial upgrade must be completed manually, but after installation, the client will update automatically. You can find the installation guide and download link for the new print client here.

Note: Our goal is for all customers to be using the new print client before the Black Friday/Cyber Monday peak period. This will allow us to deploy critical patches and fixes quickly, if needed, during this busy time. To help ensure uninterrupted printing, we encourage you to upgrade to the new version as soon as possible.

Migration to New UI - Stock Take, Cycle Count, Variance Approval

We are continuing to roll out the new UI for web and mobile applications. Our current focus is on Stock Take, Cycle Count and Variance Approval. Thank you for your feedback on the updated screens. We are incorporating your input and are currently working on the next round of improvements based on that feedback.

Actions and Action Creation Improvements

🟪 The action search screen now allows you to search for actions that are In progress or Not started, in addition to those that are completed or not completed. (1288496)

🟪 When creating actions in the new UI, you can now select the specific orders that match their filter, in the same way that they could for the legacy action creation popup. (1476272)

🟪 When creating an action in the new UI, it is now possible to see a preview for how many items, orders, and actions will be batched. It is also now possible to see how many items are on each order from within the sales orders grid. (1513071)

🟪 On the action list, it is now possible to change the released-to role for multiple actions at once. (1507731)

Stock Take Variance Approval Improvements

🟪 The Stock take variance approval screen on the web now supports selecting and approving or rejecting multiple variances at once. Batch approval is available only when the selected variances can be processed safely. For example, variances that reference the same location or include container variances must be approved individually to prevent conflicts or unintended overwrites. When a selection includes both eligible and ineligible variances, you can still process the eligible variances in a batch and review the remaining variances manually. (1495558)

🟪 The Stock take variance approval search screen can now display multiple users if there is more than one person involved in the approval of a variance, and the screen also now supports searching for variances based on the name of the user involved in making a decision on it (either approval or rejection). These users are referred to here as decision makers. (1494431)

🟪 The item name is now displayed by default on variances. The list of columns here can be configured, so users can adjust this grid to show the most relevant data for their operations. (1494414)

🟪 The item and container variance grids on the variance detail page can now be exported to CSV. (1492490)

Other Improvements

🟪 The Sort function on mobile can now be configured to display one of the sales order attributes during the workflow. By default this will show sales order attribute 3 (as it does today), but this can be changed to other attributes, or removed entirely. (1494294)

Resolved Issues

🟩 We resolved an issue with the carrier integration framework that could cause some despatched items to be missed on multi-package orders. (1364125)

🟩 We resolved an issue with automated action profile execution that could cause some profiles to not be run on time. The underlying root cause of the issue was a long-running search for sales orders, which caused the profile to time-out, but still be marked as "processed". With this fix, the system will automatically re-run those profiles in the event of a timeout, and the fix for the underlying timeout issue is planned for the next releases. (1496580)

🟩 We resolved an issue with the username applies to changes made to orders via the integration. Previously, the PvxIntegration tag was inconsistently applied to availability changes triggered by changes to orders made by the API. The integration user is now consistently applied for any allocations or deallocations that result from adding or removing order item lines, which should help integrators identify which changes are the result of order updates that they have made, as opposed to order updates made directly within the WMS. (1519621)

Preview of Changes Coming Soon

Action Creation Improvements

Action creation continues to evolve as we drive toward more configurable and more flexible options for batching orders and automating manual processes.

🟦 We plan to extend the new action creation (including the scheduling component) to other warehouse activities, including put away, replenishment and more.
