Descartes Peoplevox 24.07-03 includes the New Features, Enhancements, and Resolved Issues (bug fixes) described below. If you have questions about an item, please reference the number in parentheses, if available, when contacting Descartes Customer Support.
This release includes significant changes to the back-end that will support the upcoming put away feature, app-wide performance improvements, and additional diagnostic tools for further improvements.

Info: As we push forward with migrating screens to use the new web app styling, we will be moving the older versions of those screens to legacy mode. They will still be available for the immediate future, but we encourage you to use the new versions of the following screens where possible, and submit feedback so that we can ensure that the new screens meet all of your needs before the legacy screens are switched off in the future:

New Features and Enhancements
🟪 Further enhancements have been made to the upcoming put away feature by adding new permissions and workflow configurations to the mobile process. (1062963)
🟪 The security of the application was improved by enforcing a minimum of TLS 1.2 on all outbound API calls, regardless of where they originate within PVX. Up to this point all outbound API calls have been made using TLS 1.2, but there were some rare scenarios where a third-party endpoint could downgrade the connection to a less secure version of TLS. Going forward, these downgrade requests will not be permitted, and the connection will instead be closed. This change has been deployed to QAC only, but will be released to production later this year. Please see the coming soon page for more information about this change. (1040321)
🟪 The performance of the sales order summary report has been improved by limiting the available date range to the last two years. 🟪 The older versions of the despatched items by package reports were deprecated in order to drive usage toward the latest and most performant version (v5). This change has been deployed to QAC only, but will be released to production later this year. Please see the coming soon page for more information about this change. (1039444)
Resolved Issues
🟩 An issue was resolved that could cause the carrier integration platform to ignore query string parameters in the callback URL when making a label request. Query string parameters are now respected and included on the label request if they are defined in the endpoint configuration. (1032501)
🟩 An issue with the mobile returns workflow was resolved that could prevent some user settings from being persisted between sessions. (1069518)
🟩 Several issues were resolved concerning the visual representation of error messages on the new reporting UI. (1065936)
