Peoplevox

Release Notes - Version 9.3.0 (173/20)

Descartes® is pleased to announce the general availability of the Descartes Peoplevox™ 9.3.0 (173/20) release. The release includes features, enhancements and bug fixes that are designed to improve system performance and services. In the release notes below, a brief description of each enhancement and bug fix is provided.

In addition to the items listed below, we have also been working hard to prepare the first release of the new locations screen on the updated web app UI, as well as the first release of the updated put-away process for mobile.

The rollout of the new login workflow to production is also underway! This workflow has already been active on QAC for several weeks, and over the next couple of releases we will be enabling it on production as well. As with the rollout to QAC, there will be no change to your username or password, but if you use a password manager, please ensure that you know your password. Password managers may not recognise the new login screen as the same page, so you may need to manually enter your password the first time you see the screen.

New Features

New Feature: Introduced the ability to map the sales order currency for ChannelAdvisor integrations. With this update, we can apply a currency to any orders imported via the connector. The ChannelAdvisor API does not expose an order-level currency field, so in order to set this up, please reach out to support and let them know which currency corresponds to each ChannelAdvisor account / profile ID (we can set one currency per profile). If you only have one ChannelAdvisor profile integrated with Peoplevox, just let us know what currency you would like to be applied. (690708)

Enhancements

Enhancement: Ongoing improvements to infrastructure security, particularly related to the way the system handles request and response headers. (588323)

Resolved Issues

Resolved Issue: Fixed an issue that could cause orders to be imported with blank addresses. All addresses should now be set correctly. (732382)Resolved Issue: Fixed an issue with importing orders from ChannelAdvisor where a common email address was used for multiple customers. Previously, this could cause older customer data to be overwritten. With this update, if you use a common email address for multiple orders across several customers (for example, to manage preorders), our support team can configure your connector to assign each customer a unique identifier instead.
