Action Creation Improvements

🟪 The order filtering workflow is now updated and serves as the foundation for several further improvements in coming releases.

This new workflow is compatible with saved searches that you may have already created using the old action creation popup.

Using this new workflow:

  • You now have greater control over targeted filter changes by selecting individual lines to update, without needing to rewrite the entire query.

  • Multiple lines can be updated at once using multi-row selection.

  • You can also create searches that evaluate individual items within an order, allowing you to distinguish between orders where any versus all items meet a specified condition.

The new workflow explicitly defines the mandatory conditions that are always in effect for action creation, so you can see how your filters will interact with those. The preview grid below the filter panel lets you quickly check that your filter returns the expected orders.

Building a filter is simply a case of adding conditions.

Do this by either using the Add icon in the top right of the grid or clicking the insert button at a particular slot in the filter.

You can also now easily compare lists of values. For example, you can check whether an order has a service type within a given range.

A collapsed view is presented to make the search easier to read at a glance.

The new workflow also allows you to quickly clone, edit and delete individual filter conditions to make it even easier to create and update filters.

You can find the new order filter workflow under Actions -> Setup -> Order filters (Beta). In coming releases, we plan to extend this further by introducing additional searchable fields and support for more calculated properties, such as comparisons based on the total cubic volume of an order.

Mobile Stock Take Variance Approval

🟪 The mobile stock take variance approval workflow is now updated to be consistent with the new web application workflow. Overall, this does not involve a significant change for mobile operators, but it does allow users to review and approve variances where both the expected and counted quantity are zero. (1415159)

Resolved Issues

🟩 We fixed an issue in the mobile put-away function that caused errors when scanning barcodes containing a slash. The workflow now supports location barcodes that include slash characters. (1423566)

🟩 We fixed an issue that prevented variance reports from being approved when they involved removing inventory originally created through a goods receipt. (1435031)

🟩 We fixed an issue where shared action profiles could appear with a blank order filter when the filter wasn’t shared with the viewer. Profiles now always display their assigned filter, even if it isn’t explicitly shared. However, users can only select and apply filters they have access to when making changes. (1428491)

Preview of Changes Coming Soon

Action Creation Improvements

Action creation continues to evolve as we drive toward more configurable and more flexible options for batching orders and automating manual processes.

🟦 We plan to extend this new action creation (including the scheduling component) to other warehouse activities as well, including put away, replenishment and more in the future.

User Activity Reporting

🟦 We are developing new and enhanced user activity reports designed to standardize metrics across different warehouse activities. Our goal is to provide you with tools to measure performance, establish benchmarks, and track KPIs for warehouse operators.
