In this release, we're focusing on rolling out a number of quality-of-life bugfixes on Android while we continue working on some higher impact improvements for the next couple of weeks.
Enhancements
- Android tablets will now wrap item names over a few lines instead of cutting them off after 60 characters (11525).
- We've tweaked the Android app to sync stock takes and despatches a little faster, so stock take variances and despatch history will be visible sooner on the web app (12715, 12716).
- We've added some tools that will help us keep an eye on the health of your system, so we can quickly spot any issues and nip them in the bud (12217).
- We've made some changes to the way we handle searching on the web app. The upshot is that complex searches on sales orders, actions, despatches (and the event log) won't have any impact on your system performance (12393).
Bugfixes
- Fixed a bug during despatch by item on Android that could allow some orders to be partially despatched, even if the order was configured not to permit this (12163)
- Fixed a bug that could cause the Android device to lose data (e.g. picks / receipts / despatches) if it ran into an error during the sync. The app will now hold on to that data until the sync completes, to make sure the activity gets recorded (12374).
- Cleaned up the wording on an Android despatch validation message related to orders being picked to multiple locations (12633).
- Fixed a bug on the Android despatch by item process that could prevent part of an order from being despatched (12634).
- Fixed a minor validation message that could sometimes incorrectly tell packers that their order was split across multiple locations (12703).
- Fixed a bug that might have blocked you from saving changes you made to your custom documents templates (12904).
