As we mentioned in the release notes for 5.8.4.143(104), we're publishing a new version of the PVX Updater app (v11) for Android devices. The Updater is responsible for managing the update of the PVX app you use in the warehouse.
This new version of the Updater is designed to keep us in line with the latest best practice policies advised by Google.
The new Updater will be available via the Google Play Store (for those devices that support it), and a download link is also available below if your devices do not support the Play Store.
This update will not affect your PVX Android app that you use within the warehouse.
We'll be pushing the new version of the Updater to the Play Store and the URL below between 0700 and 0800 BST on Thu 11 October - you will be able to install the new version at any time after that.
Action:
For Android devices that support the Google Play Store, please install the new version of the Updater by finding the app within the store and clicking the "Update" button.
If your devices do not support the Google Play Store, please manually install the latest version of the Updater by navigating to this URL in a browser on your device (replace <CLIENT-ID> with your Client ID):

You will be prompted to download a file. Please download this, tap on the downloaded file, and choose to begin installation.
From WC Mon 22nd October, the new version of the Updater will be mandatory, and you will be prompted to install this when you open the PVX Android app.
