What backup processes are in place for our database, data or configuration?
Databases are backed up in two ways: Nightly full client backups and incremental server backups every 15 minutes utilising PAAS automated backup solutions. Daily database backups are retained for 30 days. Monthly database backups for six months. Server backups are retained for seven days.
What is the recovery process in case of lost data or configurations?
This process is dependant on the client and the client's timeframe where the system must be fully operational with all data intact. If the data are corrupted, we can restore the client's database in a few short minutes from the previous night's backup. However, restoring data integrity from the time of backup to the point of corruption can take longer.
Is there a service level agreement on server uptime?
Peoplevox does not currently have any dedicated uptime service level agreement, but uptime is currently at 99.9 percent.
What is the expected recovery time if a restore needs to be completed?
Ranges from a few minutes to a couple of hours, depending on the amount of data that needs to be restored.
All Peoplevox systems are built to be highly available. The likelihood of actually implementing a disaster recovery scenario is extremely low.
