Descartes® is pleased to announce the general availability of the Descartes Peoplevox™ 24.03-02 release. This release includes several improvements to the returns and RMA workflow, a number of fixes and improvements to the ChannelAdvisor integration, and a range of general user experience improvements across the app.
Enhancements
🟪 Extended the new returns workflow with the ability to customize the grid columns and header fields that are displayed during a return. These settings are remembered between sessions, so you can customize the screen to show information that's relevant for your workflow without overloading users with too much data (919376).
🟪 Extended the returns workflow to indicate the total scanned quantity of each item, allowing users to better track the items they have processed in larger returns (999938).
🟪 Extended the returns workflow with a new "quick return" process. This process allows you to easily handle large returns by selecting a single reason, condition and location for multiple products at once (887340).
🟪 Updated the receive without scan workflow on the mobile app so that it now keeps the operator in the receive workflow after completing a receipt, so that they can scan the next receipt immediately without having to reopen the screen from the menu (981171).
🟪 Extended the scan function on the mobile device to be able to scan previously despatched orders. This allows operators to look up order details from a sales order barcode, even after it has been despatched. For example, if they need to handle the order prior to processing a return (922799).
🟪 Extended the ChannelAdvisor connector to import the company name from the delivery address on an order (985821).
🟪 Implemented some minor security improvements across the application (576100).
Resolved Issues
🟩 Fixed a bug on the mobile app that could cause the sorting control in the top right of certain search controls to display incorrect options (939318).
🟩 Fixed a bug in the ChannelAdvisor connector that could sometimes cause the incorrect date and time formatting settings to be applied to an order, which could cause some carrier integrations to lose precision on the precise time selected for the requested delivery date (939317).
🟩 Fixed a bug in the ChannelAdvisor connector that could prevent some cancelled order updates from being imported correctly (664331).
Important: Several changes are coming to the system in April, including some that impact your mobile devices and/or integrations. In particular, mobile devices running a version of Android prior to 7.1 will no longer be compatible with PVX. Please take a look at the Coming Soon section to make sure that you are prepared for these changes:
