In this release, you may notice that we're changing the way we version your web application - this represents a technical milestone for us as we're pushing forward with the cloud migration project, and we hope the new versioning system will be a little more transparent (and make it easier for you to see whether your web app version contains the new features we announce here).
As for functional changes in this release, we've got a few bugfixes around integrations, despatch, and we're also drilling into reporting (more on this to come in the future).
Enhancements
- New report: "Incremental Changes Report v1". This will show you a list of all of the recent changes in availability for any product, along with information on what caused the change, where the change occurred (if relevant), and more (14164)
- We've been tweaking the despatch summary report to improve performance - you should see significantly improved load times for this data (19096)
- Ongoing improvements to Android sync
- Implemented the new versioning system for the web app (17864, 17869)
Bugfixes
- Fixed a bug with our task scheduling mechanism that could in rare cases cause imports / event subscriptions to become stalled and require manual intervention to restart (19686)
- Fixed a bug on the Android device that could cause the despatch screen to become locked and prevent the user from scanning any additional items (18428).
- Fixed a bug on the web app despatch screen that could cause an error to be thrown, and the user prevented from continuing with the despatch, particularly if the user has multiple web app tabs open (18124)
- Fixed some miscellaneous Android sync bugs related to transaction timeouts - you should see fewer instances of a transaction failing to sync as a result of a timeout (19430)
