Peoplevox

Release Notes - Version 24.01-02

Descartes® is pleased to announce the general availability of the Descartes Peoplevox™ 24.01-02 release. This release builds on the changes from the first release in January to (1) primarily focusing on extending the returns and RMA workflow and (2) implementing back-end changes to support the style update for the web app UI (user interface).

As a reminder, we are also preparing for a major new UI update, which helps keep the look and feel of the application more consistent. For example, here are some previews from our development environment for the old returns screen using the updated UI:

And the action creation screen on the updated UI:

As you can see, the screens themselves are unchanged, so you can continue using your existing workflows and processes, but the navigation and overall user experience move closer toward that of the new style being used on the locations and returns pages. We plan to roll this out over the coming weeks, but please reach out if you would like to be part of the first batch of users.

New Features

New Feature: Implemented a new version of the purchase orders by date report (v2) that fixes a couple of small bugs and also exposes the reference field from the purchase order (963650).

Enhancements

Enhancement: Extended the RMA item line to support a quantity field. This means that integrations can now provide a quantity against each item line to be returned, rather than having to list every item on a separate line. Note that the work to support returning multiple products in a single workflow is ongoing, and we expect to release this in an update soon (922802).

Resolved Issues

Resolved Issue: Fixed a rare bug with the webhook scheduling mechanism that could occasionally cause it to miss order status updates when an order is despatched (896011).

Resolved Issue: Fixed a variety of small styling and workflow issues with the new returns and RMA module (918565).

Note: For a longer-term view of the changes coming to the system, particularly those that impact integrations, please take a look at the Coming Soon section:
