The second release of the year delivers on some additional improvements implemented over the peak period. It includes improvements to security across the app, back-end scheduled job improvements, as well as some functional bug fixes.
Enhancement: Continued to lay the groundwork for an upcoming release of a new "Scan" function on Android. The first early-access release is coming soon, with a full release shortly afterwards. (452475)
Enhancement: Implemented some back-end scheduled task improvements that will help with future development and maintenance (364795).
Enhancement: Made several app-wide security improvements, as well as implementing additional automated security testing tools (576090, 397376, 581472, 574529, 549261).
Enhancement: Started to lay the groundwork for a new login experience on the web application. More on this to come in future releases, but this new workflow will allow us to add enhanced security features such as 2-factor authentication in the future (452456).
Resolved Issue: Fixed a bug that could occur when viewing or saving sales orders on the web app, which caused an orange warning banner to be displayed indicating a problem with "other threads running in the session" (471187).
