Peoplevox

Release Notes - Version 9.4.0 (174/21)

Descartes® is pleased to announce the general availability of the Descartes Peoplevox™ 9.4.0 (174/21) release. The release includes features, enhancements and bug fixes that are designed to improve system performance and services. In the release notes below, a brief description of each enhancement and bug fix is provided.

In addition to the items listed below, we have also been working hard to prepare the first release of the new locations screen on the updated web app UI, as well as the first release of the updated put-away process for mobile. We aim to release both of these in the next 2-4 weeks for early-access feedback.

The rollout of the new login workflow to production also continues - as with the rollout to QAC, there will be no change to your username or password, but if you use a password manager, please ensure that you know your password. Password managers may not recognise the new login screen as the same page, so you may need to manually enter your password the first time you see the screen.

Enhancements

Enhancement: Extended the IncrementalChanges event subscription to include the sales order number for events that are triggered by changes to order allocation (allocation, deallocation, cancellation). To see the corresponding sales order, you can use the ReferenceNumber parameter (735441).

Resolved Issues

Resolved Issue: Fixed an issue with the "outstanding purchase orders" report that could cause some goods-in data to be duplicated if there were multiple receipts against the same PO. With this fix, the goods-in quantities will be correctly calculated regardless of how many receipts are performed for a given PO (361272).Resolved Issue: Fixed a bug that could prevent actions from being created for orders if the order had previously had an action but it had subsequently been cancelled or skipped. Orders will now be available for batching regardless of any previous actions that may have been created for them (734495).

Note: For a longer-term view of the changes coming to the system, particularly those that will impact integrations, please take a look at the Coming Soon section:
