Release Notes - Version 6.12.0 (129)

In this release we're focusing on a number of back-end improvements that should be a big help with general system performance and stability, as well as pushing ahead with planned improvements to reporting. We've also got a couple of bug fixes around event subscriptions and allocation during action creation.

Enhancements:

  • We've improved the internal tools that we use when helping with action-related support requests, so we'll be better able to help with those queries in the future (22356).
  • Ongoing back-end enhancements related to reporting, including an enhanced version of the "Item movement history" report that we'll be rolling out shortly (22763, 22792, 23390, 24054).
  • Introduced additional logging around our API throttling mechanisms, to ensure that we maintain an accurate view on which connections are throttled and how frequently it occurs (23234).
  • Some back-end technical improvements related to the way the app communicates with the database, which will improve the reliability of the entire system (24088, 24230).

Bugfixes:

  • Fixed a bug in our subscription scheduling mechanism that could in rare cases lead to some subscription events being missed (23836).
  • Fixed a rare bug that could incorrectly cause "insufficient inventory" errors when inventory was available for allocation (15138).
  • Introduced additional logging around the pack process during despatch to help diagnose despatch-related support tickets (23520).
