We've been busy over the last couple of weeks with some big improvements to allocation to ensure that your inventory is assigned to orders as soon as it becomes available. We're also working hard to improve our back-end tools so that we're fully prepared to support you over peak.
Enhancements
- Implemented a number of changes to ensure that an order is allocated inventory as soon as it becomes available within a site (12018, 21775).
- Removed the need for you to manually provide a region prefix when logging in on the Android app - the app will now automatically select the most appropriate region for you (21135).
- Ongoing improvements to our release and deployment process to ensure that new releases are as smooth as possible (20368).
Bugfixes
- Fixed a bug that could prevent allocation from being triggered when the type of a location is changed between Pick and Quarantine (9521).
- Fixed a bug that could cause purchase orders to be cancelled prematurely when another PO was modified (21152).
- Fixed a bug with the stock take approval report that could incorrectly indicate that stock takes resulting in no variance had been rejected (21342).
- Several stability enhancements to our task scheduling service that's responsible for raising subscription events (21587, 21590).
- Fixed a bug that could result in an order remaining allocated even after removing the allocated inventory (21599).
- Fixed a bug that prevented an order from being deallocated correctly after moving inventory in a container into a quarantine location (21601).
- Fixed a bug that could prevent an order from being allocated inventory when that inventory is moved into a new site (21964).
- Fixed a rare bug that could result in orders not being allocated inventory in the correct sequence (8885).
- Fixed a minor UI glitch on the web app that could occasionally cause drop-down menus to display incorrectly (21029).
