Descartes Peoplevox 24.08-01 includes the New Features, Enhancements, and Resolved Issues (bug fixes) described below. If you have questions about an item, please reference the number in parentheses, if available, when contacting Descartes Customer Support.
This release includes a series of improvements and fixes to the new dashboards module prior to its upcoming launch. It also includes a range of bug fixes across the application, and some of the last outstanding changes needed prior to enabling the new put away module for beta users.

Info: As we push forward with migrating screens to use the new web app styling, we will be moving the older versions of those screens to legacy mode. They will still be available for the immediate future, but we encourage you to use the new versions of the following screens where possible, and submit feedback so that we can ensure that the new screens meet all of your needs before the legacy screens are switched off in the future:

Thank you to everyone that has provided feedback on these screens so far. Please rest assured that we are reviewing all feedback, and have several enhancements planned to implement many of those changes that you have proposed.
New Features and Enhancements
🟪 The recently released returns process has been extended to support the identification of items using the item code in addition to the barcode. This will make it easier for operators that know the SKU of the product but do not have a physical barcode available to scan. (1059045)
🟪 Additional diagnostic logs have been introduced to help investigation into reports of premature session expiration. These diagnostics will allow us to more accurately track the duration of those sessions that are reported as expiring before the intended 30 minutes of inactivity. (1073429)
Resolved Issues
🟩 An issue was resolved that could cause some mobile transactions to fail to sync correctly with the server, leading to discrepancies in the view of the data on each. These transactions should now sync correctly and the view on the data should be consistent between web and all mobile devices (1065167).
🟩 An issue was resolved that could block the export to CSV of some reports from the reporting module. The system will now reliably allow users to export reports to CSV. (1022352)
🟩 An issue was resolved that could cause some web application elements (buttons, grids, etc.) to not be displayed on smaller screens. (1013292)
🟩 An issue was resolved that caused some precision to be lost during the stock price calculation on reports. This issue was caused by a truncation of the item price on the purchase order, and that price will now be held to 4 decimal places to allow the proper calculation in reports. (1037833)
🟩 An issue was resolved that occasionally prevented the replenishment report from executing correctly when launching it from the sales tab. The report should now work as intended regardless of how it is launched. (1059553)
